RUGGED XL 400 ENGINE OIL MACK EO-K, EO-K2, EO-L, EO-L+ CUMMINS N.T.C. 400

Rugged XL400 Engine Oil was developed and tested for extended usage periods, plus designed to hold up in equipment that is susceptible to extreme heat conditions. Special attention has been given to viscosity, V.I. Improvers and the dispersant / inhibitor chemistry for 1999 to future.

Rugged XL400 Engine Oil is designed to meet all engine manufacturers requirements. Rugged 400 15w40 & 10w30 meet the new API classification SL/CI-4. This low ash, multi service product is approved for low ash Detroit Diesel requirements as well as other high output diesels requiring S-3 quality oil. This high-quality oil is specially suited for supercharged diesel engines, and meets the new military specification MIL-PRF-2104F. Rugged 400 Engine Oil also meets the requirements for low speed, high-torque engines.

Rugged XL400 was designed with excellent soot handling capabilities. Over 1million hours of documented field tests with extended drain intervals of 350-400 hrs (20k miles) in city stop and go operations has proven the superior performance of this product. API CI-4 was designed to manage the increased soot and contaminate level caused by current emission requirements.

RECOMMENDED:

• Supercharged or naturally aspirated diesel engines for which the manufacturer specifies series 3 (S-3) motor oil.
• Wherever a MIL-PRF-2104F, or a MIL 46152D motor oil is required.
• For API service SL/SJ/SH/CD-II/CD-4/CF/CF-II/CF-4/CG-4/CI-4.
• For mixed gasoline, diesel engine fleets.
