RUGGED UNIVERSAL Coolant and Antifreeze

RUGGED UNIVERSAL Coolant & Antifreeze provides superior cooling system protection. RUGGED is recommended for use in all cars, light trucks, and heavy duty diesels, foreign and domestic. It protects all cooling system metals including aluminum from corrosion and rust. RUGGED Antifreeze and Coolant prevents hard water deposits on heads and blocks, as well as preventing excessive foaming. Its phosphate-free, low silicate technology extends the life of hoses, gaskets, thermostats and water pumps compared to high silicate and/or soluble oil coolant technologies.

General Policy Statement: RUGGED UNIVERSAL Coolant & Antifreeze is compatible with most major brands of conventional (colored green, yellow/green, blue, blue/green, pink, purple) ethylene glycol based antifreeze coolants. It is also recommended for all vehicles where a "low silicate" or aluminum protection is specified.

*Refer to owners manual in regard to supplimental coolant additives and long life operation. RUGGED XL 400 fully formulated coolant & antifreeze is the primary recommendation in some long life applications.

Warning: Do not mix with “Dexcool” or other organic acids coolants (usually colored orange or red).
